Intrepid Traveler

Hi,

   My name is John and I am 56 years old and in robust good health.  If I were describing me in a few words I would say “I love life and look at everyday as an adventure”.  I am currently living in India where I am building a factory to manufacture decorative accessories and furniture that I design and sell in the U.S. and Europe.

  I have been married four times to lovely women and for a myriad number of reasons we parted. I am still friends with all but one ex.

  I have 3 boys, 36, 24 and 3 and one grandson who is 2. They are my greatest treasure and I make sure I am a part of their lives. My oldest jut married in Nice France and my middle son is moving to Florence in January.  My greatest heartache is my three year old who I am parted with and lives in Atlanta. I write him a letter every other day.

  I have lived all over the world including 2 years in North Africa, 2 years in Spain studying restoration and preservation of painting, 2 years in Greece, 5 years in Rajasthan India and 1 year in Tianjin, China. I just relocated back to India after my year in China.

  I spent 5 years in New York City and 15 in Atlanta where I was a Vice President of Tiffany and Company.  I am a gemologist.

   My favorite hotel to stay is the Oriental in Bangkok yet I spend a lot of time in rural India wearing overalls and boots bathing out of a bucket.

    I like to get dressed up and attend black and white tie affairs and on the other hand sit on the floor of a dusty mosque listening to Urdu poetry in rural India.

    I am an avid reader and love to write. I have written 3 books and half of 2 others taking off 2 years to give this dream a whirl. I received option offers from movie studios for two of the books but the deals were so ridicolous I passed so the manuscripts languish under my bed.

   I love physical activity and work out every day and do a lot of walking. I love to eat and consider variety the spice of life. I drink bourbon whisky and wine. I love to be in love and to make love.

   I think money is for spending on ones family and friends and have had a lot and very little at different times in my life. I have started over many times in my business career always taking big chances winning sometimes and losing other times. .

    I would like to find a person to share my life with. It certainly isn’t the life for everyone but there must be someone out there who would enjoy the excitement and variety.
